Job Title: Data Operations Manager
Location: New Jersey
Duration: 6-9 months Contract
Job Description:
Manage Data operations & production support team.
Well versed in ITIL & ITSM processes. SLA mgmt. reporting, Manage Run books etc.
Present SLA compliance in Governance meetings
Perform root cause analysis and investigation on data quality issues and work with the business owners and IT to fix the issues
Develop and document the processes to standardize data management operations at by collaborating with internal business units
Develop/enhance/monitor data quality reports to identify potential issues with production data flows
Review, comment and follow-up on various reports.
Audit multiple departments and job functions and provide suggestions and feedback.
Monitor, create and publish reports and metrics across multiple departments.
Summarize analysis into clearly written memos and presentations to outline operational observations and improvements.
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports. Review reports for accuracy and completeness.
Work with cross-functional areas and interpret data for business processes, investigate root causes and provide appropriate recommendations based on analysis
Facilitate cross-functional communication between areas throughout the organization that collect, maintain, and use data related to customers to determine data-related requirements and priorities
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of related experience.
Strong computer skills and an understanding of computer principles
Experience with BASH and Perl
Advanced SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc
Experience in systems analysis, design and development
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
