Position Description
This role will focus on data modeling with Erwin in an environment with Oracle, SQL Server, Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL and moving the legacy environment to the AWS cloud
MUST HAVE:
· 5+ years Enterprise Data Modeling experience with Erwin
· Experience with AWS Redshift Data Warehouse with strong SQL, database design and modeling skills in AWS Redshift
Essential Functions:
Data modeling with Erwin
Interact with client business and technical teams to understand the requirements and nuances around data and processes
Ensure sufficient quality to meet needs of client teams
Design and implement DWH and data modeling projects as per requirements
Assist with documentation of tasks and processes for business and technical teams
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering
8-10 years of total experience
Hands on experience in developing ETL processes using ETL tools or through programming
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Experience in working with various IT and business teams to analyze ETL mapping requirements in the data warehouse, data marts or operational systems
Experience with complex data processing logic, data cleansing and error handling
Working experience in Cloud Data Warehouse implementations
Experience in working with Amazon Redshift databases
Strong knowledge of Data Integration and Data Warehouse architecture, requirement analysis, design, development and testing using various SDLC processes (Waterfall model, Agile)
Strong experience of database development and data modelling (relational and dimensional data modeling)
Advanced level of expertise in Informatica Power center 7x/8x/9x and Informatica Cloud application development and performance tuning
Strong experience of Oracle SQL and PL - SQL programming and performance tuning
Proficiency in Amazon web services (Redshift/EC2/EMR/S3), Unix shell scripting, Talend 6.X
Should have experience in working on data sources and MDM tools
Should be strong in writing complex SQL queries
