Detailed Job Description:
Build and Manage Data Modeling and Services (including Data Architecture, Logical and Physical Data Model, Data Investigation)
Provide Data Services for Financial Transactions impacting Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting etc
Work with application development teams to design new Citi application data structures and modify existing structures
Data analysis and develop models using Oracle, and document and maintain models in Erwin Data Modeler
Review data models and data structures developed by data modeling and application development teams
Ensure that SQL meets Citi’s standards and best practices, and evaluate performance impacts
Review data warehouse extract/load mapping documents. Review DWH ETL mapping documents and develop deployment data definition language (DDL) scripts
Involved with analytical and operational data store modeling, physical data model deployments, and script development
Work with dimensional data modeling at the enterprise level
Identify and fix SQL performance issues, and support development teams including access/privilege requests, Table space assignments, and space capacity analysis.
Undertake complex technical development and leverage resources from within and outside the team to complete critical tasks
Provide development sizing and estimation and support requirements gathering.
Work with technical and business support teams to triage issues reported by business users. Determine the root cause of issues. Support customer review forums held by the usability team through prototype review and functional requirement walkthroughs
Provide guidance and lead Junior developers both onsite and offshore and co-ordinate all development work in a timely manner
