Experience: Describe the required/desired years and type of experience.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience related to software development.
Must have at least 7 years’ experience in designing & developing data integration and enterprise data warehouse solutions.
Must have at least 7 years’ experience in data modeling using Kimball’s methodology.
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in ETL/Reporting technologies such as Informatica, MicroStrategy, Tableau etc.
Must have at least 3 years’ experience in Cloud/MPP technologies preferably AWS Redshift.
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in application & SQL query tuning
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in estimating, planning and tracking development tasks
Knowledge and Skills: Describe any required/desired specialized knowledge, skills or abilities.
Knowledge of database design concepts, programming, performance tuning
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
Proficient in data modelling tools
Knowledge of researching and preparing detailed functional specifications
Knowledge of how application systems interact with each other, databases and the infrastructure
Experience with debugging production issues and resolving them
Experience with identifying application performance bottlenecks and resolving them
Knowledge of industry best practices
Experience in implementing reusable code libraries and frameworks
Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
Requires strong consultative skills and excellent customer communications and solution prioritization
Requires thorough understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and technology.
