Job Description :

This position is for a Data Modeler/Data Analyst role.

As a data modeler, this resource is responsible for modeling out all the entities in the new Data Warehouse for the
Informational platform.

A logical model is maintained in Erwin with field and table definitions (data dictionary metadata

A naming standards table is maintained and used to create a physical data model and DDL is generated to create the
physical structures.

The data model is a hybrid version of Data Vault and the resource is expected to be knowledgeable in enforcing the
Data Vault standards.

The new Data Warehouse will be replacing the current traditional EDW over time and the first phase has recently moved
to production.

As a data analyst, this resource will work within a Kanban team to assist in analysis and sourcing initiatives for the
current data warehouse and its downstream data marts.

Savvy SQL skills are required to perform analysis and profiling of data from an Oracle database and result in the creation
of mapping specifications from which developers will code ETL.

This is an exciting agile project with long-term potential.
