Job Description :
Basic Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3-5 years Data Technology experience to include Enterprise Data Management (for example, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, or Data Warehouse)
2. Minimum of a bachelor''s degree
3. Experience in Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Hadoop (ideally MapR)
4. Nice to have: experience with Hospitality and Travel industry
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and support the company’s logical data environment. Participate in projects relative to the requirements and design of the logical data environment.
Provide guidance to developers, database administration, and data administration concerning design and transition to the physical data environment.
Propose ways to improve the environment and help set data administration direction. Advocate the development and use of an enterprise data model and metadata management. Participate in large, cross-enterprise projects requiring strong analysis, design, and leadership skills.
Work in RDBMS and also Hadoop environments
Hands on data modeling for data marts, etc. - Use tools to create / update / review logical and physical data models
