Seeking local candidates that can leverage their oracle background to integrate/load different types of source data, and collaborate w/the business and understand the data domain and plan/design integrations. Demonstrate experience with planning and executing large data integrations and able to define, plan, and recommend best practices for integration solutions that may establish patterns to be followed for future integrations.
Strong Communication and Collaboration skills: Studies data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying meanings of and relationships between data objects. Communicates with customers to clarify data format requirements, analyzes customer data specifications and provides gap analysis and works closely with project teams on customer-specific initiatives that involve data movement, translation, or integration development. Assists, instructs and mentors other team members on the tools & techniques used for data integrations
Experience: Implementing testing strategies (unit / integration / regression / performance) for data integration processes and with the implementation and use of a version-control system for data integration artifacts. Experience interacting with RESTful/SOAP based API''s for data retrieval and.storage, and with Oracle, SQL Server, Access, and one or more noSql would be.helpful, and understanding of high-availability/DR considerations impacting solution design
Planning & Documentation: Establishes data integration specifications, and determines best-fit data interchange methods, and assesses middleware tools for data integration, transformation, and routing. Develops project scope and specifications; Establishes delivery timetables. Writes and socializes translation / implementation plans to move development work into various environments Creates high quality documentation for future reference, training and support purposes
Execution: Integrates data shared across legacy, new development, and purchased
package environments and validates data integration by developing and executing test plans and scenarios including data design, tool design, data extract/transform,networks, and hardware. Ensures repeatable data integrations have proper error handling,
retry/remediation mechanisms, monitoring and Troubleshooting technical issues related to data transformation and flow.
