Responsibilities
Be the teams “go to” SME for all things data and content, as well as design and implement content ingestion, processing, governance, analytics, and insure effective use, working as part of the development team within an agile process
Undertake DBA Ops related Infrastructure support and maintenance activities efficiently and to the highest standards.
Understand the needs of the business and how the systems meet these needs.
Work with the Technology management team to establish and oversee the best use of technology and process to produce efficient, innovative, high-quality solutions.
Actively research innovative ideas and suggestions on both, data mining and analytics, as well as improvement of tools, practices and other technologies.

Required Skills
6 years of experience with relationship and non-relationship database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo or similar technologies
6 years of experience with building data transformation and normalization from disparate sources
2 years of Experience with AWS technologies
2 years of experience with python, specifically with data normalization, tagging
3 years of experience with Search technologies preferably elasticsearch
Experience with ETL and data processing especially with python, spark, similar programming language
Champion of automation weather it is deployment or test
BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Passion for creating innovative solutions to not-very-well-defined problems

Nice to Have
Experience with java, reactjs, javascript
Scripting infrastructure using terraform
Experience with container technologies like Docker
