Job Description/Technical Skills :
Senior Developer responsible for creating Data pipeline and ingesting Datasets. Database and programming skills in emerging open source technologies Hadoop, Data Ingestion and Search, Data Visualization
The Senior Talend Data Integration Developer will be responsible for designing and developing solutions requiring subject matter expertise using Talend.
Work with Data Architect and IT Infrastructure teams to understand business requirements, independently architect, design, develop, unit test and implement processes to extract data from sources such as SQL Databases, unstructured data sources, Kafka, JSON and XML sources and load into a Snowflake
Analysis of business requirements and defining technical specifications for the solution in the form of a design document.
Use of SQL for data analysis and validating loaded data.
Develop the data integration pipeline with Talend Studio and conduct needed unit and integration testing.
Provide support to QA and UAT teams during testing of solutions.
Bachelor''s degree or higher in Computer Science desired.
2+ years of relevant experience working with Talend
2+ years of experience in working with Snowflake Redshift/Amazon Web Services desired.
5+ years of relevant experience working with SQL and data integration tools
3+ years of hands on analysis and development experience in Unix and shell scripting
3+ years working in Python
Experience with Hadoop, Sqoop, Flume, Hive, Kafka
Splunk experience is highly desirable.
