Job Description



Install, maintain and monitor data center equipment as well as software application in an Enterprise Data Center. Provide local support for production and mission critical application servers including multiple virtual and physical servers, networking devices and backup/restore related activities.



Responsibilities

Serve as remote support for service desk and/or project manager

Server and Network hardware installation and configuration

Raid 1 and Raid 5 hard disk configuration and installation

Assisting with installation and modification of software products on the network as required

Basic trouble shooting for network connectivity

Recognizing job errors and determining action to be taken

Experience with VMware and Windows Server technology

Communicating with vendors and/or support teams to track problems and document status

Valid driver''s license

Ability to lift 75 pounds/34 Kilogram



Requirements:



High School Diploma, Microsoft and/or Cisco certification a plus

Min 2 years of Enterprise Data Center experience

Knowledge of basic networking, Windows, server hardware

Experience in supporting petrochemical industry is a plus

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Good planning and organization skills

Ability to multi-task and to prioritize under pressure

Ability to assume responsibility and work independently as well as within an organization
