Title : System Administrator
Location Belle Chasse,LA
Responsibilities:
- Administration and maintenance of local business network and Azure systems.
- Ensures systems are compliant with corporate information risk management policies and NIST Standards & Controls.
- Investigates and troubleshoots complex issues.
- Repairs/recovers from hardware and software failures; coordinate and communicate with impacted end users.
- Works with local team to provide rotational after hours on-call support to plant systems.
- Performs periodic performance reporting to support capacity and lifecycle management plans.
- Researches and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for sys admin tasks.

- Windows Infra (AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, File & Print, IIS, FTP)
- Storage (NetApp, Veeam, Avamar)
- VMware
- Infrastructure Monitoring & Reporting (SolarWinds, Splunk, Voyence)
- Scripting & Automation (Ansible, PowerShell, etc
Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Management Information Systems, or 7+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience administrating Windows systems
- Experience with managing and maintaining Azure Platform (Cloud, Compute, Network, Storage, Caching, Security, Backup/Restore & troubleshooting)
- Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant
- Ability to obtain Transportation Workers Identification Card from Department of Homeland Security
