Role: Data Center Network Administrator
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: long - term
Experience: 6-8 Yrs

Mandatory Technical Skills:
Routers: Cisco 7600, 7200, 3800, 3600, 2900, 2800, 2600
Routing: OSPF, BGP,, PBR, Route Filtering, Redistribution, Summarization, and Static Routing.
Switches: Nexus 2K/5K/7K, Arista, Cisco Catalyst 6500, 4500, 3850, 3560, 3750, 2960
Switching: VDC, VPC, LAN, VTP, STP, PVST+, RPVST+, Inter VLAN routing & Multi-Layer Switch, Etherchannels, Transparent Bridging.
Network Security: Cisco ASA, ACL, SRX,
LAN: Ethernet (IEEE 802.3), Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet
WAN: PPP, HDLC, Channelized links (T1/T3), Fiber Optic Circuits, Frame Relay.
Gateway Redundancy: HSRP,VRRP and GLBP
DHCP and DNS: Infoblox
Various Features & Services: IOS and Features, IRDP, NAT, SNMP, SYSLOG, NTP, DHCP, CDP, TFTP, FTP
AAA Architecture: TACACS+, RADIUS, Cisco ACS.
Network Management: Wireshark, SNMP, Solarwinds, cisco prime

Desirable Technical Skills:
Prepare high-level and low-level network designs in response to new business requirements.
Provide third-line support to resolve complex problems.
Create, maintain and review operational and technical design documentation
Conduct detailed analysis of network performance statistics using a variety of tools.
Assist with the development of network optimisation and capacity plans
Produce test plans and change controls for network changes
Network design and administration experience.
Experience of working with Cisco router platforms and an understanding of EIGRP, BGP, OSPF and MPLS.
Experience working with Cisco switches.
Experience working with Nexus (7, 5 and 3K), Arista Cisco 6500, 4500 switches, Cisco ASAs, Juniper SRX firewalls
Through with firewall ACL requests and troubleshooting
Multi-Vendor firewall experience., Juniper SRX,
