Job Description :
Understand the functional, business and data requirements of both the legacy and new application
Experience in Informatica and Business Objects tools and technology as ETL and reporting platform in large data warehousing and analytics project
Study the existing legacy data model/data extracts and high-level mapping to target data model/data upload requirements
Experience in various types of extraction of data from disparate source system, applying various transformation and aggregation rules and loading on to data marts or/and data warehouse.
Experience in relational databases, querying and analysing large amounts of data
Experience in Collecting, Profiling, and interpreting large data sets
Analysing the query results
Work with other stake holders on arriving with extraction, transformation and loading rules, process and strategy
Arrive at a high-level data, ETL, reporting and archiving strategy and align with business requirements
Ensures high performance ETL process by removing bottle necks of performance
Draws strategy on backup, recovery, archival and restoration of data and ensure compliance to local government law on data dissemination and usage.
Help the development team with design guidelines
Strong verbal and oral communication
