Job Description :
The ideal candidates will possess the following:
Create and manage logical, physical and conceptual models using data modeling tools.
Work with the business and technical teams to fully understand the business requirements and be able to translate them into data structures and also account for changing business needs.
Translate business requirements into logical, conceptual and physical data models
Understand complex models and business processes
Analyze and profile source data to find underlying data/domain relationships and gaps
Develop and communicate standards for data structures.
Build referential integrity into the models.
Experience in Business Rule Management
Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Marts
Experience with Performance, Scaling, Caching
Experience with Data Migration, ETL, Archive
SQL server architecture level knowledge along with profiling tools is a must.
No SQL data base understanding is a must, any knowledge of Cognos, Informatica is an added advantage.
Experience with data architecture and design patterns
Experience leading the design of big data solutions for any domain
Knowledge of how technical platforms and environments are constructed.
Ability to reverse engineer existing database structures
Knowledge of connectivity between environments.
Strong understanding of how applications run on various platforms.
Strong business acumen and political savvy
Ability to lead and manage projects
Ability to collaborate while dealing with complex situations
Ability to think creatively and to drive innovation
Ability to motivate, lead and inspire a diverse group to a common goal/solution with multiple stakeholders
