What You''ll Do
Support movement of massive amounts of data and existing processes into new ecosystems.
Conduct SQL script output comparisons across platforms
Build Detective Analytic scripts
About You
Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Management, or a quantitative field
You have Teradata SQL Experience
You have extensive experience performing data ETL between multiple platforms, connecting servers of multiple types, piping data through those connections
You have experience migrating large data sets to S3, experience using EC2 servers
Strong communication skills.
You have an analytical curiosity. You are someone that can ask probing questions to eradicate ambiguity and are willing to point out flaws in logic and identify better ways to do things.
You have a "Good Data Intuition”. You are not looking for an order taker, but looking for an analyst that can sniff out trends, identify patterns, and answer open ended questions.
Preferred Experience
You hold a AWS Certification
BIRST experience
You have experience using Tableau
You have experience with Data Warehouse technologies (Teradata, Redshift, Snowflake)
You have experience with Unix/Linux systems and scripting experience in Shell, Perl or Python
You have experience with the retrieval and manipulation of Hadoop data, exporting to another platform
You have experience with AWS EMR clusters and Spark, including PySpark
You have experience building user-interfacing tools (e.g. GUI) that connect to S3 backend or to a relational database
