Data Analyst with profiling experience (preferably using BDQ) and must have Healthcare experience.
Domains are Product and Membership
trong hands-on data analysis skills with expertise in the Provider subject area / domain
Experience working in a “big data” ecosystem
Experience performing data profiling
Experience documenting and cataloging metadata utilizing Informatica Enterprise Information Catalog (EIC)
Excelling communication skills
Experience utilizing Informatica data quality tools (IDQ or BDQ) - preferred
Qualifications:
Prior experience in the healthcare industry with strong knowledge of Provider data is required
Excellent knowledge in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries is required
Require prior experience working in an Information Management or Data Management division and should have performed data analysis as a primary role
Flexible in adapting to new technologies and working on multiple projects simultaneously
Understand data warehouse concepts and functionalities
Knowledge of Informatica toolset with the ability to read / analyze existing code and be able to propose innovative solutions and modifications.
Understand the structure / concepts of datamarts (facts and dimension tables)
Have expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze data and report results.
Ability to work with multiple areas within organization to get business objectives, data requirements etc.
Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data
Analyze and solve issues with current and planned systems, processes, datafeeds, etc.
Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
Experience utilizing Informatica Enterprise Information Catalog (EIC) to catalog metadata
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Data Analysis experience able to triage the identified data issues, work with other SMEs in our area to perform Analysis, and determine what is needed to move the tickets forward
Bachelor''s Degree in related field required. Master''s Degree in related field preferred.
Minimum eight (8) years related Data Warehouse, Information Management experience.
Health care experience is required
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Business Intelligence Background in large scale system integration and data mart projects.
Healthcare experience is required.
Prior consulting experience preferred
Experience with Informatica ETL tools
Experience with Informatica Enterprise Information Catalog (EIC) metadata tools and their administration
Experience in one or more of major data modeling tools such as Erwin, Data Architect, Oracle Designer and their administration
Experience in one or more data bases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server.
Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
A high proficiency level in specific job related skills is required.
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
Experience in data warehousing/Business Intelligence (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, Cognos etc and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting
Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Utilizes solid knowledge of the Project Management Institutes standards and terminology.
Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise.
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job. Prior large, complex project management and delivery management experience a plus
