Role
Data Analyst
Responsibilities
* Independently conduct analyses using key data sources or existing internal or external data sets.
* Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
* Manipulate, extract, process, and analyze large data sets to develop insights and surface implications. This may include developing repeatable processes and structures for regular analysis and reports, as well as quickly identifying approaches to answer ad hoc inquiries.
* Examine existing datasets and reports to accelerate current processes.
* Develop and implement data collection tools and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
* Create dashboards and visually represent data for consumption by different audiences
Education & Functional skills
* A BS in Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of work experience.
* Technical expertise in data modeling, database design development, data mining and data segmentation.
* Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proven experience translating unstructured data into actionable insights for decision making.
* An ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information quickly.
* Adept at creating queries, writing reports and presenting findings.
Technical skills
* Strong SQL and Power BI skills is a must.
* Expertise with MSBI (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
* Extensive hands-on experience in designing and building SSAS Tabular Cubes
* Expertise in advanced T SQL, Power BI
* Good work experience in Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)
* Extensive hands on experience in building & maintaining Power BI Dashboards
Desirable Functional Skills
Previous experience working with Microsoft
Passion to drive improvement in the overall customer experience
Customer focused / user empathy skills
Experience working within a geographically-dispersed team
Experience working across cloud applications
Be self-critical and have an accountable work approach
