Title: Data Analyst (Mortgage Domain)
Type: Long term
Location: NYC, NY
Work with multiple counterparties and data processes in order to facilitate monthly asset purchases
Work with various formats of data in order to normalize for asset analysis
Strong experience in Data Analysis/Mappings
Manage month-end portfolio database reconnaissance processes
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly data import processes
Day-to-day analysis, research and resolution of various exceptions
Develop enhanced asset management reporting and analysis tools
Ad-hoc reporting or research as directed by management
Analyze and design processes to provide enhanced controls through improved risk management and increased reporting efficiency
Research operational, reporting, or data issues and present solutions or process improvements to portfolio management team
Creation of ad hoc reports in SQL for various end users
Complete monthly custodial process from file import to asset-level reporting
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
