Data Analyst-Long Island, NY. (Full Time)

DESCRIPTION

THE EVERYDAY VIEW

Directly query and analyze internal and external data sources to package together clear, actionable findings

Provide timely, valuable solutions for analyses via SQL and BI tools with a focus to detail on crafting scripts and visualizations that can be easily manipulated to efficiently address similar future analyses

Develop advanced analytics dashboards, visualizations, and KPI reports using BI Tools

Grow to serve as the team''s subject matter expert for advanced analytics and report design, offering insights and suggestions on what potential problems we should be solving


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a Bachelor''s Degree in maths, statistics, computer science, quantitative or analytical field, economics, or similar field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in an analyst role with a heavy focus on querying data, analyzing and clearly presenting analyses to stakeholders across the organization and to our clients

Experience designing reports, visualizations, and dashboards in a business intelligence software such as Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik, etc is a must, becoming our expert of dashboard design and data visualization

Experience with retrieving and gathering data, organizing it and using it to reach meaningful conclusions is a must

Experience with examining data, correlating data, identifying patterns, analyzing trends, and building visualization others can understand is a must

Prior analytic experience with an eCommerce company , a company that has a membership database or broadcasting company.

Prior experience with Google Analytics, Omniture, or other online analytics

High SQL aptitude a must •Ability to conduct predictive analyses via R a plus

Ability to clearly explain findings from complex analyses in case studies and presentations is a must

A flexible, collaborative teammate with the ability to deliver both high level explanations of complex problems while also being able to deep dive into complex problems we are solving

Confidence, hustle, energy, and drive accountability is key and the impact of your work is crucial to our success

Strong written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal skills.


We are only accepting candidates that are US Citizen or Green Card holders. Relocation is not available at this time.
