Job Description :
4 + years of experience as a Data Analyst/Data Analytics professsional.
2 + years of experience as a Business Analyst is preferred
Experience with at least two project experience in playing a data analyst role. Strong Business Analyst with a Data Analytics background
Experience of defining business requirements, system requirements, requirements traceability and working across all stages of software development lifecycle.
Knowledge in Financial Domain and Insurance.
Knowledge of data ingestion and transformation in traditional , big data and cloud computing technologies . Collecting, processing and analyzing data on the basis of available sources of information
Strong Business acumen to understand the business context, work with ambiguous problem statements, quickly understand business goals and work with users to define business requirements.
Possesses Technical knowledge to understand and appreciate the technical solution and take active part in solution discussions.
Strong understanding on data models and data modeling tools like Erwin and EA.
Preferred
Previous experience as a Data Analyst in the following areas: Data Governance/Data Quality/MDM/Metadata and controls in
Knowledge of aspects of IM including effective requirements management, data management, storage and integration, and reporting and analytics
Understanding of Organization Structure, Processes, Policies
Analytical and quantitative skills
Financial Reporting/MIS experience
High attention to detail and ability to work on multiple items simultaneously and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Has experience of working in geographically distributed teams.
Excellent documentation skills.
Strong presentation skills and ability to confidently drive presentations with executives and senior management. Experience in executive communication, leading technical teams and/or third party vendors in the full life cycle of Project development from the initial strategy to end-of-life planning as well as the ongoing support.
Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
