Essential functions:
? Automation of Deployment of Hadoop components
? Backup and maintenance of Hadoop metadata databases and configuration items
? Scheduling of jobs using cron and autosys
? Extensive experience in Hive and Oracle databases

Experience:
? Overall 5 years IT experience
? Requires 2-3 years of experience working as a PL/SQL developer
? Requires 1-2 years of experience working as a HIVE developer
Candidate skills:
? Advanced knowledge of Hadoop components including HDFS, MapReduce, Hive
? Advanced skills in performance tuning and troubleshooting Hadoop jobs
? Intermediate skills in Data ingestion to/from Hadoop
? Knowledge of Greenplum, Informatica, Tableau, SAS desired
? Knowledge in Java desired
? Knowledge in Hbase .
