Job Description
Maintenance of all databases under Data Services ownership (postgres, redshift, bigquery)
Support for incoming and outgoing data processes
Administration and maintenance of external and internal access to databases within the DS Warehouse
Design and implement database best practices
Support engineering team needs for growing database structures
Be the primary liaison with DevOps for infrastructure updates related to Data Services implementations
Dedicated DS resource (BI only)
Only BIA VPC
Services that require troubleshooting, no implementation access
o All databases are managed from the same console.
Limited API access (provide specifics)
Same access as other developers to BIA instances
Primary responsibility is RedShift and Postgres databases on BIA
Determine how to track and audit all work/changes
All POCs to be performed using sandbox; once fully documented and ready for prod, devops will take over the responsibility
