Sr. Software Development Engineer for Test (SDET)

Location: Burlington, MA
Duties and Responsibilities:
We seek an experienced Sr Software Development Engineer for Test (SDET) to join our team and play a role in the development and maintenance of automated tests for our core platform. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Participating in various design and backlog refining discussions
Automating system, integration, and component level regression test cases
Expanding existing or introducing new automation frameworks to support implementation and execution of automated tests
Participating in CI/CD discussions and implementation
Performance and scale testing
Collaborating with other developers and project stakeholders to ensure quality of deliverables and business requirements are met
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or relevant field
5+ years’ experience in software quality assurance testing
5+ years of practical experience in automated testing
Experience building automation frameworks
Experience creating automation with Python. JAVA experience is preferred.
Experience using Selenium for automated browser based testing
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, GitLab, Jenkins and building test automation into CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in an Agile Development environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desired Experience:
Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field
Experience with using AWS (Amazon Web Services) for test infrastructure
Experience with Docker and software containerization
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with Maven and/or Gradle build automation tools
Experience with Git version control system
Prior experience with Application Security
