JAVA/SOLR Developer
Sunnyvale, CA

Looking for a passionate Java Backend Engineer with the following skillset
- In depth knowledge on search (Elastic or Solr) Physical and Logical Architecture
- JVM tuning
- understanding of Lucene library
- Experience on Kibana, building dashboards
- Nice to have understanding of Elastic/Solr security model
- Expert on Various Tuning and Error Logging
- Installation, performance tuning , Backup and Recovery
- Resource Management, Memory Management
- Deep understanding of various Tools
- Deep Understanding of Linux Operating System, Commands, Tracing and Performance tools
- Ability to write Python scripts
- Understanding of tuning OS level Kernel parameters
- Nice to have understanding of Kafka or other No SQL databases
- Ready to work late night and weekends
- Excellent communication skills
Overall a very good performance engineer who is ready to drive things to closure end to end.
