DEV OPS Admin/ Engineer
New York City.
Client is looking for an experienced DEV OPS ADMIN/Engineer.
Note: This role needs a good hands-on-experience & Automation required. Should have worked in a development environment but not just production. Ability to write code, should be comfortable with one of the programing languages, either PHP or Ruby and who can help the client in Automation using Puppet/Chef, any Continues Integration Tool like Jenkins.
This is ideal for someone who has built the websites on PHP/RUBY and worked on Chef/Puppet, Jenkins would be great. The candidate should be intersted in Dev Ops and building tools for Dev Ops.
Skills:
Systems Engineering and Automation
AWS Architecture, Continuous Integration experience with any tools like Jenkins, Automation using Chef/ Puppet and supporting environments dev environments on apache/nginx/jboss/mysql/mongo.
Minimum 2-year experience in Lamp, Subversion, GIT etc. is required.
Candidate should have experience in scripting (Shell/Python/Perl/Ruby
Strong experience in supporting high traffic web sites/applications.
Candidate should have Linux/RedHat admin background who has “evolved into the other skills” (PHP/AWS,MYSQL,NOSQL,MONGODB etc)
