Job Description :
Local staffing firm has a client seeking a Jr. to Sr. level DBA, that can do some development as well as system administration. Direct hire full time role, and /or contract to hire. Need Strong technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems. To include Windows Server ( 2008, 2012 ) and desktop operating systems ( Win 7 - 10 )
Strong knowledge of Database Backup/Recovery, Scripting, SQL Agent, and Integration Services preferred.
Hands-on experience supporting/maintaining Microsoft SQL Server.
Knowledge of application maintenance to include performing installations of client/server software upgrades and patches while communicating with end users.
Experience with data management, backup and restore of data and related maintenance required to protect data.
Experience with backup products such as Backup Exec and Veeam are preferred.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and systems integration. Creation of User Accounts, Group Policies, Security Groups, Permissions, and Federated Services (Single Sign-On
Hands-on experience troubleshooting software and hardware.
Application support experience with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office applications, as well as other business software systems.
Analytical Reporting / Detail Reporting. A highly qualified candidate would be familiar with using MS Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Excel (Pivot Tables)
Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws and experience with Microsoft SharePoint or similar collaboration tools is a plus
