DB2 JD - MN Urgent Requirement any visa is fine must be Our W2
· Must have at least 6 years of DBA experience with DB2 and associated tools in a mainframe environment.
· Experience with JCL and SQL including DDL, DML, or DCL is required.
· Experience in relational database technology(RDMS), DB2 Z/OS is required
· Experience with standard IBM utilities and tools including Image Copy, Recovery, REORG, RUNSTATS, Load, Bind, and Explain with SPUFI, and QMF preferred.
· Exposure to database modeling and design techniques
· Responsible for the design, implementation, and day to day maintenance of software application databases. This includes application meeting attendance and representation as the primary point of contact for database support.
· Responsible for quarterly implementations and application system updates. This will include helping with design, risk analysis, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly state issues and provide recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Displays excellent collaborative skills to facilitate cross-functional teams.
· Perform production level support and be part of the on call rotation when required.
· Mainframe DB2-zOS database design experience, with particular emphasis on application support. Infrastructure support is helpful, though it will not be the focus of this position.
· Relational Database physical modeling experience, preferably using Power Designer
· Experience in tuning partitioned and indexed DB2 tablespaces.
· Experience in reorganizing DB2 database subsystems.
· Experience with DB2 version 10 and the new capabilities of version 11.
