Title: DB2 Database Administrator
Location: Flowood, MS
Duration: 6 month *Contract to Hire*
Interview Process: Phone then On Site / Skype (for non-local candidates)
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or IT related field is required.
Must have at least 5 years of DBA experience with DB2 and associated tools in a mainframe environment.
Experience with JCL and SQL including DDL, DML, or DCL is required.
Experience in relational database technology(RDMS), DB2 Z/OS is required
Experience with standard IBM utilities and tools including Image Copy, Recovery, REORG, RUNSTATS, Load, Bind, and Explain with SPUFI, and QMF preferred.
Experience in IBM Pure data Analytics (Netezza) is preferred.
Exposure to database modeling and design techniques.
