Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities
Provide DB2 Database support for alarge DB2 z/OS data sharing environment
Database Design
Maintenance of critical Db2 databases including Reorgs,Image copy, sizing etc.
SQL tuning and performance
Collaborate with the business unit application support organizations on discretionary projects and support them with their installs.
Work with Enterprise Infrastructure to support the database
Ensure effective use of technology vendors and internal Fidelity technology business partners.
Provide 24x7 on-call support
Identify and document infrastructure requirements of moderate complexity from internal customer groups
Evaluate new products to meet specific needs within the organization
Education and Experience:
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years relevant experience
Skills and Knowledge:
Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment
Extensive experience in SQL performance tuning
Database Design
Extensive Experience in SQL, REXX,JCL,COBOL, Stored Procedures – Cobol and NSPs
Working knowledge of CA Database Tools
Brokerage Back-office knowledge
