Location: Vienna, VA
Duration: 1-yr with two 1-yr option extensions
Clearance: DOJ, DOD, or public trust clearance preferred. Must be able to clear DOJ background check.
Description
Provide high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on security systems that include: firewall, Intrusion protection systems (IPS), web proxy, DNS Security, email filtering, packet capture, malware sandboxing, and data leak protection. Assist other senior engineers and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture, networking; telecommunications, automation; communications protocols, risk management /electronic analysis, software; lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation. Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity
Experience with the design, configuration, and documentation of systems
Knowledge of Fortinet and Cisco
Ability to work independently in an isolated client location
Ability to work within a team
Ability to follow client technical specifications
HS diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity or BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of FireEye, Bluecoat, Fidelis a plus
