Role: Cyber Security Engineer
Responsibilities:
A need for a skilled cybersecurity engineer for the Cybersecurity Assessment Services team within our Enterprise IT Security organization. The engineer is needed for the deployment of an enterprise cybersecurity vulnerability and compliance monitoring solution. The cybersecurity engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, deployment, and initial operations and maintenance of the cybersecurity vulnerability and compliance monitoring solution, as well as other assigned duties.
Additional Job Details:
Prior experience designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining enterprise cybersecurity vulnerability and compliance monitoring, vulnerability scanning, continuous monitoring, or similar solutions is desired.
The cybersecurity engineer must have strong verbal and written communication skills and work closely with internal customers and vendors to anticipate requirements and quickly resolve issues.
Required skills/experience: - Experience managing enterprise Linux systems - Experience managing disk storage - Experience writing small utility scripts in Python, Perl, or similar languages - Understanding of authentication technologies, e.g. TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, AD, RSA SecurID - Understanding of TCP/IP
