Role: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Deleware

The Global Information Security group mission is to evaluate, establish, maintain and monitor compliance with information security controls that protect the Company s information and computer systems.
The group is led globally by the Chief Information Security Officer, with regional representation by the Regional Information Security Officers in EMEA and APAC. There are five global functional teams across our pillars of Governance, Strategy, Awareness, Risk Advisory and Monitoring & Metrics.

Cyber Risk Assessments & Governance which provides security guidance and supports the design and implementation of secure solutions via the development of information security policies, supports the development of detailed standards, awareness and training, and provides security metrics and governance. This group also evaluates, tests, validates applications for Information Security control measures

Cyber Business Risk & Awareness which develops alignment with business objectives, coordinates the Security Ambassador and COO functions, and integrates the various Information Security functions into day to day business operating procedures

Cyber Architecture Services which discovers prototypes and evaluates new products and helps with engineering and Infrastructure security standards and specifications. Support the development of detailed Infrastructure platform security standards.
Security Measurement which develops quantitative processes and solutions to measure, automate, and model Information Security controls.

Cyber Operations which detects and responds to security events, deploys detection systems, and provides the security vulnerability tracking and oversight.

Working as a member of Information Security, the Cyber Monitoring Analyst is part of the global team that is responsible for providing 24/7 real-time monitoring of the firm''s security posture. This team is also responsible for incident identification, documentation, remediation and tracking. More specifically, the Level 1 Analyst will support the global Cyber Monitoring function and have following key responsibilities:

Perform accurate and precise real-time analysis and correlation of logs/alerts
Follow detailed operational procedures to appropriately analyse, escalate, and assist in remediation of security events

Utilize multiple security technologies to investigate and analyse alerts
Deliver timely and detailed documentation related to any incident including the findings, review and follow-up activities

Participate in the creation, modification and maintenance of all Cyber Monitoring policies and procedures
Keep abreast of cyber security trends and the emerging threat landscape in general and as it relates to BlackRock
