Job Description
:
We will be retiring legacy Mainframe applications and rewriting them in .NET/C# to be hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud. Most of the applications being retired are batch mainframe jobs that process large quantities of data. We are moving those workloads to a series of C# jobs hosted on the Azure cloud.
Experience:
A good .NET background is a must (C# a big plus) as well as any cloud experience
Knowledge of the legacy mainframe tech that we are dealing with is a plus as we do reference it quite a bit during the analysis and development phases.
