Job Description :
Title: C# Developer
Location: Westlake, TX- 76262
Duration: 6 months Contract to hire

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for developing, coding, testing and debugging new highly complex software solutions or enhancements of Web Service API’s that’ll allow third party systems to interface/integrate with the SHS system Designs and codes high quality, complex applications using advanced technology
Demonstrates senior knowledge of technical solutions
May design and build prototype applications
Understands, interprets and translates business requirements into the necessary designs and documentation
Assures high code quality and strong adherence to coding standards on projects
May create optimization programs to resolve problems
Full participation in real Agile submersion
Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
Resolves software incidents and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

EDUCATION:
B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering

EXPERIENCE;
Minimum 5 years development experience in C# and .NET technology

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Expert knowledge of .NET development in C#
Expert knowledge of back-end web development: XML, Web Services, WCF, ASMX, WSDL, SOAP
Experience in building multi-tier applications (user interface, intermediate layer, database)
Experience building interfaces to third party systems by developing WCF/ASMX Web Services in C#
Experience in building ASP.NET-based applications
Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Simple Design
Working Knowledge of SQL, Oracle and ORMs, preferably NHibernate (or Hibernate)
Unit testing, test automation, Continuous Integration NICE TO HAVE

PREFERENCES:
Property Management System experience preferred
Familiarity with travel industry and OTA & HTNG standards is a plus
