Responsibilities:
Client is seeking a C#/Visual Studio Developer to cross train with two existing staff members and provide backup on their system. The Division will also need assistance in re-architecting a number of applications. The position needs familiarity with XML, Visual Studio/C#, Oracle, Web design and development.
A familiarity with the DTI architecture is a definite plus. Contractor will be expected to convert from COM to Web Services. Ideal candidate should have have good system design skills as well as programming & testing skills.
The systems are all tax related. Modernized eFile, Imaging, Document processing, Financial Transactions, Tax Filing.
Additional Role Description:
This is a programming position that requires technical aptitude in full lifecycle development in C# and VB.NET. They must be a fast learner with excellent communication and problem solving skills, and able to work with minimal supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position is a Sr. developer and will be require at times to mentor junior staff on industry best practices.
This consultant should have extensive experience commensurate with ADVANCED technical capabilities in development of new systems and applications.
Candidates should also consider the ability/interest in converting to full time with the State of Delaware after 6 months. This is not required, but a valuable attribute to the State.
