Crystal Reports Developer needed for client in Houston, TX 77042 (Short term project) W2 role
Crystal Reports Developer - on behalf of our client, a growing midstream company, Procom Services is looking for on (1) Crystal Reports Developer with 3 or more years of experience for a short term project. The successful candidate will have experience developing reports using Crystal in an Oracle environment.
Primary focus is Crystal Reports in a Oracle Environment
This is a short term project, about a month to back-fill one of our contractors going on a short leave.
Crystal Reports Developer Job Details
* Follow SDLC process for report development
* Meet with user community to understand reporting requirements and then produce requirements documents
* Learn and support Infomaker and Open Text BIRT reports
* Design layout of Crystal Reports, Infomaker and Open Text reports
* Develop quality with all reporting tools that meet and exceed Intertek standards
* Design, create and document database objects for the new and existing reports
* Tuning database objects and report templates to provide optimum performance
* Provide technical support Global LIMS
* Convert design and user specifications into appropriate reports
* Develop and maintain report documentation
* Provide technical assistance by responding to tickets regarding issues, problems and queries from support team
* Testing and Deployment of all produced reports
Crystal Reports Developer Mandatory Skills
* Ability to take ownership of a project from conception to final delivery
* 3+ years of experience with Oracle database and Crystal Reports.
* Understands concepts associated with various reporting and analytical needs
* Knowledge of standards and best practices used in conjunction with developing reports with Crystal Reports
* Good communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills and ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision
* Possess strong non-technical skills including, but not limited to, problem-solving, work prioritization, communication, self-direction, and time management
* Ability to learn additional reporting tools as needed to support the Global LIMS
