Position -: C++ developer with C# or Powershell Scripting experience
Location -: Redmond WA.
This role is with MS so need Windows side candidates not Linux platform.
Role title: Windows Tool Developer
Role description: System debug windows applications on different targets and identify defects and track them to closure.
Debug Windows OS on different targets for functionality based on requirement specifications. Investigate, remediate and report defects or issues. Maintains defect database and generates defect reports
Create test cases for software functionality and compatibility
Maintain records of test scenarios and results
Windows tool development (test automation tool development)
Debug source code
Education: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
Required skills: 1. FIPS 140 evaluation against Windows release
2. Windows Patches & Security Updates validation for FIPS 140 evaluation
3. Experience in application compatibility testing on different device targets.
4. Experience with formal testing methodology and software failure analysis.
5. Familiar with azure based tools, TFS, VSTS, VSO
6. Tool Development (predominantly test automation tools
7. Debugging source code
8. Technical skills in C++/C#, PowerShell scripting
9. Comfortable working in a Microsoft Windows environment, web-based applications, and dealing with hardware and software compatibility issues.
10. Excellent analytical and fault isolation skills
11. Versatile team player with excellent presentation, communication and inter personal skills
12. Experience in defect tracking
