Candidate should have
> 10 years experience in software development using C++.
strong C++ fundamentals.
used STL, Boost libraries extensively.
experience in Linux based OS like RHEL / QNX
developed unit testing framework - GTest
robust debugging and troubleshooting skills.
strong design experience in UML & OO development.
Preferable:
exposure to Python scripting.
exposure and usage of design patterns.
documentation of engineering requirements.
exposure to firmware development is a big plus.
Domain Skills:
should have worked with medical devices.
exposure to FDA compliant medical devices.
Leadership Skills:
should have the ability to lead small teams of developers.
should have strong inter-personal and communication skills to deal with other groups like Marketing, System, Mechanical etc
