Location: Charlottesville, VA
Duration: 6 to 12 months

Customer is expecting Experienced Candidates from “ VxWorks is a real-time operating system (RTOS) that can be used in embedded systems. .” along with C++.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Experience with C/C++ programming in an embedded environment
Experience with Operating Systems, preferably real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks, Linux)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
Working knowledge of Intel (x86), PPC or ARM microprocessors and/or microcontrollers
Working knowledge of C#/.NET development
Desired Characteristics :
Demonstrated experience working on teams that use the Agile Scrum development methods
Demonstrated experience with logic analyzers, debuggers and/or emulation tools
Knowledge of Ethernet and other Fieldbus (PROFINET, Profibus, DeviceNet) network communication protocols
Knowledge of application Security best practices
Knowledge of Industrial Controls, particularly PLCs/PACs or with GE Intelligent Platforms PACSystems Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience with web markup, including HTML5 and CSS
Experience with Javascript
Experience with Java, Bash and Python
