Job Description :
Role Responsibilities:

Implement features and tools from a provided design

Take ownership of major gameplay features or systems, and build new ones from scratch

Work closely with designers, artists, and animators

Proactively identify and deal with issues in the game

Experiment with game design and use rapid prototyping while ensuring that strong architectural and algorithmic decisions are made

Work closely with art and design to create and iterate on gameplay features

Prototype and iterate on features and be willing to accept and respond to critical feedback

Optimize and fix bugs in existing gameplay systems

Contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development

Write robust, maintainable code


Qualifications:

Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools

Ability to adapt and cope with change as the production of the project demands

Ability to iterate and implement quickly without sacrificing quality

Strong game design sensibilities

Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently

Creativity in problem-solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions

Keen interest in games

Experience with Source code management systems such as Git and Perforce

Must be currently eligible to work in the USA

A keen analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Good to Have:

Experience making a mod for a game, or building a small personal/team game

Shipped AAA game

Unreal Experience

Strong math skills

Experience developing VR titles

A computer science or related degree.
