Job Description :
A leading Computer Software Company (named after a fruit) is seeking a solid Java Developer to help out their team that supports applications to the marketing and sales teams. Candidate must demonstate solid Java backend experience, strong core fundamentals along with partioning experience. Candidate must also be open to being flexible if needed, meaning that if the client needed the candidate to pitch in with other roles (i.e. some integration testing, checking out logs etc the candidate needs to be flexible for the team. Java 8 skills are highly desireable, especially understanding how to improve perfomance, not just syntax change in moving from 7 to 8. NoSQL fundamentals are needed. Elasticsearch and Kafka experience are also highly desired.
Required Skills:
- NoSQL experience (doesn''t matter which - Couchbase/Mongo/Cassandra)
- Strong Core Fundamental Engineer
- Strong core Java Engineer
- Willingness to work outside the box - Integration testing/Debugging, etc.
- Spring / Springboot
- Java 7 or 8
