Job Title: Business Analyst
Work Location: Tysons, VA
Contract duration: 6+months
Years of Experience: 7+Years
Rate: Open
Must have skills:
· Functional and domain knowledge of retail banking deposit products (checking/saving, ACH/EFT, Debit cards)
· Experience in writing SQL queries for reporting and analysis
· Excellent process management and documentation skills
· Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
· Experience with Agile methodologies (scrum or kanban) and tools
Other skills/additional details:
· Domain knowledge of other Retail banking products is a plus (CD, IRA, Loans, Credit Cards, etc
· Functional/technical knowledge of Hogan core banking system is a plus
Role/Responsibilities:
· Work with business unit teams to understand and gather requirements for new requests and projects
· Work with developers and testers to create Level of Estimate (LOE) for new business requests
· Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with the end users/business and technical teams
· Perform QA, certification, and co-ordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business partners
· Analyze current state processes, create process documentation and identify process improvement opportunities
· Perform data analysis and source to target data mapping for retail banking products
