Job Description :
Duties:
Content QA will provide quality assurance testing for new/updated CMS templates and components for Client.com, using Client Experience Manager content management system and supporting technologies.
The candidate will provide quality assurance for optimal customer experience by ensuring that page content meet Client''s high standards for content display and functionality by validating all page elements such as links, videos, images and page layouts.
The candidate will take direction from the Content QA Lead on all assignments.
The candidate is required to work closely with offshore QA team to coordinate QA efforts, analyze reported bugs and consolidate QA status.
He or she will need to communicate on a regular basis with SCRUM team members and provide proactive feedback.
The candidate must be able to think outside the box when proposing solutions to problems within Client.
The candidate may be required to help with test automation strategies and implementations.
The candidate is required to do hands-on authoring in AEM to assist with bug-fixes and to provide support for product launches.

Skills:
5+ years of experience with Content Management System (CMS) in general, with strong preference given to experience with AEM (Client Experience Manager, formerly known as Day CQ)
Solid understanding of Web-based project test methodology, test environments, bug life cycle, and frequent code release deployment QA support.
Knowledge of the Web presentation layer, and business and data access layers and their interactions.
Solid knowledge of common desktop and mobile browser technology.
Experience working with highly-trafficked, scalable Web applications.
Familiarity testing with, and have applied, current Web client-side technologies - JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, XML, etc.
Ability to quickly understand and interpret design and technical specifications and provide QA time estimates.
Ability to adjust and respond to scheduling and/or technical changes, with the ability to analyze and communicate any increased risks and/or testing considerations resulting from such changes.
Self-starter, ability to adapt to shifting tasks and to support multiple requests.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good problem solving and diagnostic skills.
Team player.
Experience working with global teams.
Also desirable:
Experience with Client Analytics (SiteCatalyst), or Client Target.
Experience testing with content-centric applications using the Apache Sling framework.
Hands-on testing automation experience – from defining automation strategy, to planning and creation, through final implementation.

Education: Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent degree or experience
