Job Description :
Responsible for supporting all lifecycle IT Service Asset and Configuration Management activities.
Utilize a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to account for (record, track, monitor and update) all IT Assets and component configurations, all subsequent component configuration changes, licensure and Item Unique Identifier (IUID),
To provide accurate information on configurations and provide a sound basis for Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management and to verify configuration records against the infrastructure and correct any exceptions.
Conduct quarterly audits and provide reports on the accuracy.
Provide updates to existing technical documentation packages to accurately reflect changes to configuration items.
Ensure backup and recovery capability of configuration and asset management systems and data in the event of data loss or a major business disruption
High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Must possess a DoD Security Clearance
Requires ITILv3 2011 Foundations certification.
Ten plus (10+) years of related experience.
Certified in accordance with DoD 8570.01]M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III.
