ROLE: Configuration Analyst
Location: Providence RI



RESPONSIBILITIES:
seeking a talented Configuration Analyst to join our project team to provide development and sustainment services for our clients, both pre and post-implementation. This candidate will implement and/or support of various client applications. Responsibilities include working with System Architects and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and solutions architecture. Not only will candidates be joining a project team, they will be joining a team of resources dedicated to delivering client engagements from an off-site location focused on common tools, technologies, and methodologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience in at least one or more scripting language such as Shell, Perl or VBScript.
Experience in administration and configuration of continuous integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins.
Experience in administration of source code management tools such as Subversion, CVS or similar.
Experience with build frameworks and technologies such as ANT, MAVEN.
Experience in working with build projects for large distributed JEE applications.
Experience in deployment patterns for WebSphere and Java applications
Experience in understanding network file systems, FTP, SSL and SNMP in the context of configuration and build activities
Experience in code merges for large multiple streams including complex merges of reference data
Experience in integrating builds for large metadata tools
Experience in integrating database build integration with main build projects such as MAVEN
Familiarity with workspace and build management for common components
Experience working with transactional database systems; i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Good knowledge of software implementation best practices
Experience using automated code review tool like Find Bugs
Knowledge of XML/XSL and Web-services development
Working experience of writing Database queries in ORACLE or SQL SERVER or DB2 platform using tools like TOAD or similar

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
Ability to understand coding standards and guidelines followed in the project
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary
Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices
Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities
Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
1 plus years of experience in Java
Experience in Public Sector Projects is a plus
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience
