Client is looking for a developer who is excited at the sight of building scalable highly available services.
The Subscription Lifecycle Services team provides core services to manage the subscription lifecycle of all of Client''s customers - individual consumers, small to medium businesses and large enterprises. We are beginning our journey to break down the monolithic services and re-imagine the platform with micro-services and we are looking for a technology leader to help us realize the vision. We are looking for an expert who can design, build and deploy secure, reliable and scalable services. You will need a deep understanding of modern cloud technologies and design patterns for building "always-up " services. If you consider yourself an expert level developer, are paranoid about security and scalability, and have a sense of pride in the work you do then we want to talk to you. What you''ll do
Re-imagine the platform in a world of micro-services
Work with a team of engineers/architects to design, build and operate new services
Understand and improve current architecture
Analyze operational patterns such as load, traffic, performance and optimize
Skills:
What you need to succeed
Passion for writing software
7+ years of development experience
5+ years of experience building services
Expertise in Java and OOP
Experience in distributed systems
Fluency with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms
Well versed in CI/CD patterns, tools and technologies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
