Job Description:
This position is one of the data virtualization developer, specifically using Cisco or Denodo. Data virtualization allows data from disparate data sources to appear to consumers of the data as one uniform source, regardless of the source’s technology or format.
This position:
Designs, develops, and implements solutions in Cisco/Denodo that provide optimal technological solutions while also integrating into the over Data Server Layer strategy of the company.
Experience with Cisco or other data virtualization technology such as Denodo.
Experience with java and related java technologies.
Windows programming/scripting technologies including: .Net, C#, PowerShell.
Good Understanding about Virtual Data Port Database setup, Domain, User, Roles and Privileges configuration and maintenance.
Good Understanding about LDAP domain configuration and administration, Active Cluster installation, configuration and maintenance.
Cache database configuration at server and database level.
Import and Export data virtualization database and automation using UNIX Shell Script.
Development of Data Virtualization Views, Base Views, Derived Views, Projection, Selection, Union, Minus, Flatten Views, Interface, Associations, Web Services, Usage of Interpolation Variable or Parameterized Query, Procedure, Custom Functions, Packaged Query, Package, Trigger, admin scripts and XQuery Transformations etc.
Scheduler – Creating/Configuring/Maintaining projects & jobs, Data Sources, Filter Sequence
Experience with relational database technologies which includes: working knowledge of SQL, knowledge of relational database design, performance and tuning experience.
Worked on Complex Procedures and Triggers to transfer data among RDBMS data sources. Programming in PL/SQL.
Strong experience in Data warehouse concepts, ETL.
Good communication (oral and written) and team work skills to work with both business users and other IT members.
General IT knowledge commensurate with a degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Experience with Denodo or other data virtualization technology such as Composite
