Compliance Specialist
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 12 months

Description:
The Client Digital Foundations Organization seeks a Compliance Specialist professional. This resource will support self-audit and ongoing measurements of Client IT Compliance programs. This function will provide oversight of IT compliance requirements and manage the IT policy governance as it relates to the Digital Foundations technical landscape, interface with ISO, Audit & External Reporting, and assists in ensuring compliance to protect Clients intellectual property across the global IT environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Process facilitation of control owners with IT Teams, Internal Audit, External Audit IT and ISO in support of SOX, HIPAA and Regulatory Compliance
- Ownership of the adherence to governance process for IT Policies and Standards across Digital Foundations including
- Ownership of documenting, administration, tracking and monitoring of Digital Foundations Self-Audit Process
- Ownership of documenting, tracking and monitoring of internal and external IT Audit findings for Digital Foundations and control owner response plans
- Develop dashboards, visualizations and ad hoc reporting to articulate compliance position and status
- Use quantitative analysis, data mining techniques and strong business acumen to deliver insights and recommendations for Digital Foundations Leadership

Required Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Knowledge of the fundamental relationships of technology systems inclusive of applications, infrastructure, networks, and security
- Applied knowledge and/or experience with IT policy and standard development, enforcement and compliance with internal controls
- Process oriented and strong written/documentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls, and monitoring processes
- Creative, innovative and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Access, Visio, Power Point, etc
- Proficiency using and writing Excel functions and formulas, and pivot tables

Desired Skills:
- Applied knowledge and/or experience in two or more of the following regulatory landscapes: SOX compliance, HIPAA compliance, HITECH compliance, GxP compliance, Internal Audit compliance
- Knowledge and experience with Risk Assessment process and methodologies
- Experience developing visualizations in one or more analytics tools (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, etc
- Background in Agriculture, Biotechnology, or other industry specific experience a plus
