Role :: Cognos Reporting Analyst
Location :: Carlsbad ,CA / Frederick ,MD
JD ::
Data discovery discussions with Business in JAD sessions and map the business requirements to logical and physical modeling solutions.
? ? ? ? Design and develop various Enterprise Business Intelligence Solutions including business analysis of interfacing and integration with ERP systems of records and development of reporting and analytics.
? ? ? ? Coordinate technical efforts of other IT groups, remote teams and external vendors to ensure effective development, modification, testing and implementation of systems to meet customer needs.
? ? ? ? Develop documentation and training materials, participate with customer groups in the planning for longer-term systems enhancements.
? ? ? ? Independent problems solving skills, Demonstrated ability to multi-task and apply initiative and creativity on challenging projects.
? ? ? ? Ability to effectively present information and communicate findings, conclusions and recommendations to business management. Able to respond effectively to questions from managers, customers, peers and vendors.

? ? ? ? SQL query writing skills and dash boarding;
? ? ? ? Analyze ERP (Oracle ERP, SAP, JDE) systems to design, define and integrate Operations/Financial Data into Enterprise Data warehouse
? ? ? ? Strong data analysis and data profiling skills
? ? ? ? Exposure to ETL tool Informatica or other industry leading tools
? ? ? ? Fluent in both normalized and dimensional model disciplines and techniques
? ? ? ? Minimum of 3 years'' experience in Oracle Database (11g or above
? ? ? ? Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or information systems (or equivalent experience)
? ? ? ? Effective oral and written communication skills
? ? ? ? Self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail oriented
? ? ? ? Ability to follow and inform priorities and timelines
? ? ? ? Ability to work independently and in conjunction with a team
? ? ? ? Understanding of industry best practices pertaining to Quality Assurance concepts and procedures
? ? ? ? Tableau, Power BI experience is a plus
? ? ? ? E1/SAP ERP Functional experience is a plus
