Job Description
We are looking for Cognos report developer to join our team. This person will be responsible for analyzing business intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements, producing a range of reports, and developing value-add BI solutions. The individual will have the opportunity to work directly with business personnel across the firm including Finance, Operations, Accounting, Compliance, Investor Relations, and Risk Management, and will gain exposure to a broad array of financial products, procedures, and alternative investment strategies and concepts.

Analyzing business intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements, producing a range of reports, and developing value-add BI solutions
Candidate Profile
It is essential for the candidate to possess the following:
3+ years of IT experience
Strong SQL skills
Experience with a BI Platforms (Cognos 10
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, inter-personal skills, analytical proficiency, as well as professionalism are essential in this role
The ideal candidate would possess many of the following:
Proficiency in Cognos Business Intelligence Suite (Report Studio, Query Studio)
Cognos Framework Manager
Cognos Server Administration & Tuning
BI Best Practices
Experience in a financial services environment
Kimball Data Warehousing Methodology
Multidimensional modeling, OLAP concepts
Oracle Database Skills
ETL (Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, DataStage, etc skills a nice to have
Proficiency in a UNIX environment a nice to have
